A new Decaf for you after a long wait. As you can tell there seems to be quite a bit of time between comics. That is because although many people want free art there are some amazing people out there who actually love what I do and are willing to provide payment in the form of currency or ad space or some other type of trade. They’ve been keeping me so busy that Decaf has taken a back seat in the art que. Thanks for reading and for supporting art and artists like me!
If you’d like to buy a print of my work please check out my Etsy store.
If you’d like to commission a comic or anything else please send me an email.
Thanks!

From the too much to do, so little time department:
I’m very busy drawing many things for other peeps these days. So busy I’ve neglected making new decafs which I have come to understand is a sad thing for some of you. Fear not, as I am making other art! Art which you can buy and display for your friends and family! Art (like those pictured) can be purchased simply by clicking this: http://www.etsy.com/store/chuckha

Once again, thank you for the love and support lovelies!

I wanted to let you all know that something very exciting has happened!
A few months ago I teamed up with my friend, author David G. Mcafee. He had written a fantastic manuscript about coming out as an atheist to your friends and family. I made some black and white illustrations which he enjoyed so much they ended up in the final book!
The book? Well it’s Mom, Dad, I’m an Atheist: The Guide to Coming Out as a Non-believer you can get it on Amazon or directly thru David. Its very well written and has a ton of amazing suggestions to provide you with an easy transition from the shackles of organized religion to the freedom of thinking for yourself, free of fear. It also has some helpful cartoons inside its magnificent pages which I’m sure you’ll love.
I also suggest picking up a copy of David’s first book Disproving Christianity which basically lays the ground work for the atheist argument against the Christian Religion. The book is particularly good because David presents his arguments without hate or anger in a practical, logical manner, something most modern day Christians sorely lack.
Please support David’s great work and my work as well! Thank you and much love!

Wow loads happening as of late! Here is a convient bullet list.

•I’ve opened up an ETSY shop so you can buy prints (Like the ultra kewl Bane to your left).
•I’m also the artist for Atheist Stories which is being featured by godSwill. If you’re an atheist and you’ve got a story to tell, drop us a line.
•I’ve become a regular slacker nerd over at Juatcast. Hear my strange voice, listen to my geeky knowledge and use it to buy the right books and see the right films.
•I’m also busy doing character concepts for a cartoon series and making art for various people, places and things.
For those of you who are patiently waiting for more Decaf, please don’t fret. Give up all hope and a new one will appear before you know it. I thank you dear reader for being so wonderful and awesome!

An old comic from the past about one of my big influences Harvey Pekar. He’s been on my mind lately as I’ve been re-reading some American Splender and loving that one day in the future I will get to see the statue of him that will be infront of the Cleveland Heights public library.
If you enjoyed this old comic and you’d like to see others you can go and visit the Decaffeinated Coffee/Daily Comic archives. I suggest that you do.

So Yes, I haven’t made a new Decaf in quite some time. This is a sad thing. I’ve been on a busy-with-other-projects hiatus and will return to the strip eventually. I have a lot of penciled strips but need to find the time to ink them. Demand it and allow me to disappoint you with how busy I am doing other things. Demand it with vigor and allow me to delight you with my ability to not sleep at all! In the meantime here is a photo I drew of Bill Murray from a still of one of my favorite films ever.

For friend’s birthdays or other special life moments I like to ask them what their three favorite things are. Ms. Lee said: Dancing, Piano and Coffee. Happy Birthday Ms. Lee (sorry that it’s a little late)!
